Rendering From Vegas to DVD Architect

I am making a rough cut of a movie that is about 1 hr and 45 min long. Every time I do work on it and want to show the director I have to render the whole thing through Vegas wich takes roughly 8 hours, then when when I use dvd architect to burn it first it tells me that it is to big to fit on one disc so I split it in two and each of these disc needs to be rendered again wich takes another 8 hours bringing my total render time to 16 hours. I think my problem may be that Vegas is not rendering in the format architect needs, can you change this? There has got to be a faster way can anyone clue me in?

Re: Rendering From Vegas to DVD Architect

Render out choosing MPEG-2 for DVD-Architect format.

Remember, though, that sound will not be imbedded, so you need to render out the sound as a separate AC-3 track. Name it the same as the video and save it in the same folder, and DVD-Architect will automatically pick up the sound when you drop the video clip into the project.

Re: Rendering From Vegas to DVD Architect

YOu will also have to adjust your bitrate accordingliny. Your movie is 1hr 45 min, and that can easily fill up more than one disc if you don't watch what your bitrate is doing. To figure out what your bitrate should be, do a google search on a "bitrate calculator". It will ask you how long your movie is, and what kind of audio you will be using. It will then tell you at what bitrate you should encode your video.
