Rename P2 Card?

Hi!

Does anyone know how to rename the P2 card? I don't like No Name 1 & 2. I wanna name them JackBauer & RickJames. I don't get the option in Finder to rename. Any tips will be greatly appreciated!

You can rename them on the PC, but I don't think you can on the Mac. At least, if you rename them on the PC and format them on the PC, the name will stay the same after formatting. I don't think the Mac will even let you format a card, will it?
 
The mac will format the card. I unlock the lastclip.txt, drag everything to the trash and empty the trash. good as empty.

you can rename it, too, but it screws up the transfer rate. panasonic's p2 drivers for the mac are pretty terrible overall.

Dragging files to the trash is NOT the same as formatting a card.
