Removing red

I lent my camera to a friend. He changed the settings, and skin color appears reddish. I reset the camera to factory settings. That took some out, but a little red still appears around the nose and upper cheek areas.

So far, by adjusting matrix and color temp, I've been able to remove the red. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
 
mmm...have you set the white balace correctly?
I can't say much by just that so give us a little more detail.

is red the only color that appears different? what about other colors, do they all look natural?
does the look change when you shoot out side or inside where lighting changes?
do you see the red in the lcd and viewfinder equally the same?
