I recently filmed in a desert setting and can hear, and feel, sand stuck underneath the focus and zoom rings. It doesn't seem to be a major problem right now, but I don't want to have to shoot audio on set and have to change focus during the shot, only to hear this light "hiss" as the focus changes.
I was wondering if anyone has experience removing these parts and breaking down the camera, and may be able to help so I can clean everything.
Thanks in advance.
Note: This is for my HVX200 and meant to post in that forum, sorry about any confusion.
