Removing Bass From A Vocal Track

I have some audio that seems really bassey. I am assuming adding the EQ filter would help fix this but does anyone know what I should be adjusting to lessen the bass in the voice?

An EQ effect should work. There is also a Bass effect (adjustment) that might also do the trick.
If you remove too much bass though, it will sound very flat.

anything below 250hz should help. those are the bass frequencies....

Make sure its not your current audio system EQ thats set too bassy! Play another file that you know is ok...before eq'ing the one you think you have problems with.
