Remove HVX200 Cassette Mechanism

Hey there,

the HVX200 is quite heavy and as I don‘t use the DV Mode at all I thought about taking out the cassette mechanism. Do you guys think that‘s possible? Or will that interfere with the P2 Mode?
 
The HVX is not a heavy camera, at least I dont think it is. I think you are better off not tampering with the camera and leaving it be. You wouldnt really loose enough weight from the camera anyway to make it really noticeable.
