"Remoting" an HMC-150

Hi All,

I would like to "remotely mount" an HMC-150, either on a jib, or someplace where I can't hold it - I think the HPX170 allows you to remotely mount it, and then there is a cable that plugs into a jack on the camera, and on the other end of the cable, there is a remote control that you can adjust focus, iris, and other operational features of the camera, all from a distance. The demo I saw for the 170 at HDForum in LA, was a 170 mounted on a jib, and then 10 or so feet of cable leading down the jib arm to a nice little "console" with all the controls on it.

Given that the 150 inherited alot of the 170 features, does anyone know if it's possible to remotely control the 150, either wired or wirelessly?

Thanks!
Randy

The HMC has the same input jack as the HVX, HPX, and DVX for zoom control. It also has a jack to hook up a focus controller as well.
