remote record start/stop for FS700 (crane shooting)

looking for remote tethered or wirelless button for start/stop recording Sony FS700 on crane. i googled that maybe RMT-845? issue is max. recording time for slowmotion so no time for setting up the shot on crane while recording

I assume, though I haven't tested it, that you can just run an extension cable (move the handgrip). Would take 60 seconds to set it up.

Curious thing there. As someone who has spent time cracking Sony LANC I'm curious if you have actually fired any FS cameras with it. LANC is a "common" protocol but diff manufacturers implement it diff.
