Remote Record Button

I've just started using my FS700 with a DJI Ronin, which a really like. But one issue I have is starting and stopping the recording on the camera…lots of awkward hand shuffling. I was wondering if anyone made a button that plugs into the camera that I could mount on the Ronin handlebar? I had thought about taping the IR remote that came with the camera to the handlebar, but I was wondering if anyone has a better solution.

Taping the IR remote that came with the camera to the handlebar has the advantages that it's free, and has no cable to interfere with the stabilizer (however, that might not be a serious problem).

i'm currently handcrafting myself some wooden handgrips, so i will loose the ability to start-stop recording on the fs700's original handgrip.

i can't say how big the inner diameter of this clamp is, but the ability to just screw it to my rig via a 1/4" 20 screw is great methinks. could be useful for your application as well.

righty, received it - does only work for blackmagic cameras, not for sony lanc in general. great build quality though, made from aluminium and a 1/4 thread on the back. doesn't work for us fs700ers though.

I use the remote a lot when the camera is on a jib. Works fine.
