Remote follow focus for £150/$300

Looks like it's coming together well. It's very interesting to see all the individual parts as they are completed.

Universal, for SLR (inc vDSLR) and broadcast lenses. Standard 15mm rod mount, with 19mm adapter for RED users with Nikon lenses.

Havn't got much footage of it in use oddly, I tried to get some but by some complete fluke, we captured a few hours of BTS for a film it was used on, but we got no footage of the motor actualy moving the lens. Very frustrating.

Will try again. To my knowledge, there are two units circulating as demos round the UK rental companies, and not long ago they were being used on a well known UK drama series. If they go back on another show, maybe il ask nicely if I could go and get some BTS footage of it in action.

Its very difficult to give an expected release. I dont want to say so now, incase there is a problem and we are late. i dont want to tell you it will be ready in two weeks, incase it isn't.

Having said that, it may be ready in a few weeks.

That lens took a while to draw out.

i'm ACing two music vids very soon and i would really LOVE to have one for them, i've got the cash.... pllllllleeeeeasse

As much as I would love to make enough units to sell to all my DVX freinds, I can't afford to make any of the units for orders I don't have yet. The units I am making now have been ordered and paid for, and will be for sale via a distributor, but from what I have heard, a good deal of these are already sold. It is a real shame that I can't make these units now and sell them to you, as you have seen the product grow. I will talk to these distributors and see if I can release their details so you can ring up and order one.

If I can get 50 people willing to pay a 50% deposit, we can make things happen, but if not, its a case of waiting until I have the cash to start making them. Unfortunately they are not really economical to produce in numbers under 50 units... If this happened, I could have them delivered six weeks after the deposits were paid.

Any donations to pete@hocusproducts.com, paypal is fine.

:-D

I am willing to pay a full deposit now for the HoFo and wait the 6 weeks. I have been banking on the HoFo being available this fall for several large shoots. Here's to hoping!

yeah, I'm really interested, but we need a price point so we know what we are in for.

I could use this product on two shoots just this week!

thanks,
Derrick

ya, since when are we not getting the information for the distributor and not have access to buying this? Why are you updating it if people here can't purchase it easily? I don't get it.
