Remote follow focus for £150/$300

Pete, wht Bout special pricing for the first 50 pre order ppl in your list that has been hoping and following your progress since the begining ? Im sure most of us will even prepaid you for the FF. Hopefully you can get some economics of scale and pass on a little savings to us. Just a thought.
 
Seems like I have fallen into the same trap as other companies, quoting a time and then having problems and missing my own deadline. The shop is actually ready to go now, its just the home pages we are waiting for.

Lets just say it will be soon.

What I would love tpo see is a focus pulling device which tacks the moving object through a beacon placed in the pocket of the person one wans to keep focus on. Does that exist?
 
Even though most of you signed up over a year ago, and the product/price has changed a lot, i thought it was still worth checking to see if anyone still wanted to cash their reservation in.

Yeah, I was a little surprised at the price myself.. $2000US/$2200CDN is a lot farther out of my price range than I was hoping this would end up being. Granted, it has matured a lot from it's original design, it has also fallen out of the original market of the the DIY inspired follow focus for the average Joe it seemed to be intended for, and gone into more of a high-end piece of kit range...

Don't get me wrong, I can only speak for myself. It's still cheaper than some of the other units that are available, but imho, not enough cheaper to make it a viable purchase for me. :(
 
In Dutch we say: You have priced yourself out of the market with the 2300 us$ price tag.
Time will tell, but of course I hope you get your investment out of it and perhaps I can buy
one one day for say 999,- us$

You've already mentioned this same thing several times throughout the thread. Let the man sell his product at whatever price he chooses.
