F5: Remote Control start/stop box for all pro F series Sony cameras

Sony emailed me about a customer of theirs looking to start/stop 8 F3 cameras simultaneously.
Turns out Sony doesn't make a remote box so they asked us if we had a way to do it because we've worked with them on controlling their F series cameras.

We actually do have a proto type box that can control any number of cameras either through a cable or over RF. It can be either protocol controlled over Hirose 8 plug or direct short controlled over Hirose 4.

We have not made field units yet because we are unsure of the need/market.

Is there a need for remote firing? Jibs, multi cam shoots, aviation, underwater. Anyone here forsee needing a remote in your shooing?

Price would be around $1000 for a box with RF and cable capability- expandable to control multiple cameras with some added menu activation.
Maybe a simpler box for tripod pan handles s/s only at around $400?

Paul, Yes we can just make up special cable (longer) and your good to go. For which camera? We're running about 2-3 weeks lead time right now.
