So we shot this back in November for the Frederick 72hr film fest.
It was the first time with our new AF100 and we went in totally unprepared, which is unusual for us. We had been busy and so didn't have a chance to test out a workflow or even play much with the camera.
Post was a nightmare. We brought in and transcoded the footage to prores with FCPs log and transfer. Cut in Premiere pro, sent it to Davinci for color. Thats where things when south. None of the timecode with Davinci lined up. I think somewhere in the log and transfer and cutting in PP things got jacked. So we ended up reassembling the edit in Davinci and then exporting to FCP where we had to reassemble the edit again.
It worked out though and we loved shooting with the camera, it is just a lesson for us not to go into things blind...
Lenses used:
Canon 16-35 2.8L
Canon 24-70 2.8L
Canon 70-200 2.8L
Canon 35mm? TS L
Music was scored by a friend of mine to a rough cut while we were polishing and coloring.
Won:
Best of Fest
Cinematography
Best Music
Thanks for looking.
