Hey guys I was wondering if anyone remembers that beautiful short that was floating around this site and causing so much commotion. It was the one with the girl and her robot boyfriend. It was told through voice over and beautiful images. I think it was shot on the HVX and it looked amazing. In the end of the film the boyfriend is laying in the highway with broken robotic legs and she is crying next to him... Thats the best I can explain it. I would really like to watch it, does anyone know where I could watch it?

I think the one you are referring to is by a filmmaker who goes by Macgregor. The film was called Similo. Here is the link from Stu Maschwitz blog prolost.blogspot.com/2006/03/similo.html
 
Yeh this one is it the link simio but I thought it was shot with DVX and a 35 mm adapter
 
website said it was disqualified from scifi competition here on dvxuser. Since I was not around back then (i think) what happened.... it was a GREAT film

The shorts in the contests are not supposed to be available until after the voting has closed. Similo had its own site.
