Is there any disk space remaining indication? Bottom right on the screen shows the remaining time on that particular clip (I believe) but is there a way of seeing how much you've used on a card in total?

what a shame.
just out of curiosity why do you need to see disk space remaining? i think its quite logical though to only see time remaining. i mean generally when one shoots they go by how long the take is not how much disk space it takes up right? If you know the take is going to be 3 mins but the cam says you have only 2mins left then thats a better warning than guessing how much storage space a 3min scene will take up?
yeah the time remaining indicator is what you have left on the card (and the current clip, both relative). so if you have 2hrs on a 64card to start off with and have one hr left then you have 1/2 (32gig) diskspace remaining, 1.5hrs left then you have only used 1/4th diskspace (16gig) etc. but i'm sure you already knew that.

Yea the time indicator doesn't show beyond 30 mins does it not? so I presume that's the running length of that clip before it starts a new clip.
Sorry I probably haven't been clear. Last night, for an example, I shot a wedding. I had two Gh3's and one Canon 600d. Lots of running around filming everything all day, service, speeches etc. At some point towards the end of the night I wanted to see how much space I had left on all my cards...I had to use the Canon 600d, click 'menu' and then 'format' to show how much I've used up. It's not a big deal really, I just figured it could be something displayed when reviewing back footage you've shot maybe. Just a simple "4GB remaining" or "42 mins remaining" or something.

Should've said, I'm in the UK, so we have all these tax issues with video clip lengths etc. So yes, the time remaining indicator on screen counts down from 30mins each time ....until you come to the last 20 mins or so of your card I believe, where it would count down from 24mins or 13min or whatever.
