Relative Cost of the F3 to the EX line

Check out these charts showing the Yen against the US dollar, the Australian dollar, the Canadian dollar and the EURO. All the charts show a five year timeline. Back up 3 years to get a sense of relative cost of the EX1 and then EX3 to the F3. When you do the relative conversions the pricing ratios become really interesting.

In relative terms the F3 in US dollars in a $10,000 camera. When you put inflation back into the scenario the camera becomes a 13 to 14 thousand camera. However, things aren't quite as palatable to the people in the other countries. Relative to the US someone is making a lot of money off us for not being American with exception of the Euro.

Many countries have tariffs on Japanese products and the US dollar has been devalued. Those charts are value of the yen vs. different currencies, not directly the price of an F3 in each country or zone.
