GH2 relationship between shutter speed and frame rate? (fluorescent light question)

So if the way to deal with fluorescent lighting is to set the shutter speed to 60, how does that affect 24fps videos? I've read that you always want your shutter to be 25 when shooting video, so what's the affect of shifting to 60 when necessary?

As a general rule set the shutter speed to 1/(2x Frame rate). That will work just fine even for 24 FPS video in Fluorescent lighting. The only issue I have encountered is when using the 720p @ 60 FPS mode in Fluorescent lighting. If you use 1/120 of a second it will causing strobing affects. You have to back it down to 1/60 to completely eliminate it.

Basically the rule of thumb should be 1/(2x Frame rate) except for in Fluorescent lighting where shutter speed should not exceed 1/60th.
