REJOUER - Film being made with GH1!

the most stand out filmic shots where at 00:30 - 00:34. then there is a half second shot that looks like video when she throws the lemon thing. and 00:35 - 00:40 looks good again.
Here's where I think what others are saying about proper lighting comes into play. The areas you mentioned had a different "look" to them simply because of the lighting. That one split second you say that looked like EX-1 video (where she throws the fruit) is lit totally different from the scene just one second before....but yet they were in the exact same location of the kitchen It's not that it looked "un-filmic" but it was a strange cut on the pacing of the film. We jumped from one frame to a new one (in the same location) and the lighting changed....drastically. It gave me the impression that something was wrong and made me kind of disoriented for a second. That's the real issue here (IMO).

Just before she throws the lemon watch how the light hits her face... She is fully illuminated as she walks to the side...but in the next frame (that came out of nowhere) the lighting is not the same.

It's a teaser. I would actually even say it's not really a teaser, but a collection of shots. We also don't know if it's been color corrected. Shots aren't necessarily going to match between cuts in something like this. Wait until you see the entire film because you can't really judge a film based on a bunch of shots thrown together like this.

Also how do we know the BTS video showed each day of the shoot. What if the Steadicam shots where done on a day or time when they weren't shooting the BTS? And what if the Steadicam shots just aren't included in this "teaser"?

I think what they've pulled off looks pretty cool so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how it ends up. Let wait to see the final product before we judge it, good or bad.

...how do we know the BTS video showed each day of the shoot.

You are 100% correct. Obviously the first BTS is a only a 3.5 minute montage cut to music. You don't see much of what went on. I know there's a plan to post several BTS shorts over the next few weeks.

What if the Steadicam shots where done on a day or time when they weren't shooting the BTS? And what if the Steadicam shots just aren't included in this "teaser"?

You are again 100% correct. There's a lot of handheld work in the movie- a lot! I don't think any Steadicam made the teaser edit. AFAIK, there was a BTS crew on for all but 2 days of shooting.

Watching this very pro production, and others, I have to ask.... will Panasonic (wisely) do nothing when the GH1 is openly used professionally, in contravention of the AVCHD "non-pro only" licence that comes with the camera? Why do they bother to try to restrict it given that nobody is going to take the slightest notice? It's another daft business practice like the whole DRM issue. It ain't gonna stick.

It's all about money. If they make AVCHD a pro format then they can't sell their expensive (overpriced?) P2 cards and P2 hardware. Makes you wonder if they have another format for the pro market up their sleeve.
