Reid Genauer in 24p

Former Strangefolk bandmember, Reid Genauer, left his Burlington, VT-based band to pursue a law degree in 2000. His ties to singing and songwriting were much too strong as Reid has returned to the musical landscape with his new outfit Assembly of Dust. Reid visited our studio at the Historic Studio 54 building to talk about his new live album 'Honest Hour' and perform the album's title track.

Both the package and performance links below were videotaped with the Panasonic DVX100 set to 24p (F5). The studio was lit with 4-ARRI 650s, 1-ARRI 300 and several 100W fresnel lights. Audio was gathered with a Senheisser me66/k6 shotgun mic and 1-Azden WLX-Pro wireless lav. The footage was edited and composited with Apple's Final Cut Pro HD and one clip was rotoscoped with Pinnacle's Commotion Pro 4.1.

I haven't done much research but I must say whatever this is, it must be a great outlet for grassroots artists. I wish they had a show for us dvxusers so we can also come out and be some-ba-deh!
