Hey there guys,
I was just wondering if the t2i, 7d and 5d mk2 use the same video recording codec and bit rate (out the box)
I wouldnt mind a full 35mm sensor to get the best out of my lens collection, but want to get a bit more oomph from the recording codec than the t2i (has the magic lantern fix helped a little here?)
Also - i understand the agc can be turned off with the 5d mk2, so me o'l seinheisser rifle mic wich can be stuck on with a mini jack adapter. What kind of compression scheme does audio have in the recording codec?
As I would like to record sync audio (for modest gigs etc)
Or is it insane to invest in one atm with perhaps a new model around the corner? (Im sitting fairly pretty, atm and have done a lot of experimentation with a t2i but just wanting 35mm)
(Incidentally i actually won an awseome CPM Film tools sidewinder advanced which has been just a godsend for off tripod work)
