Hi Guys !
Just wondering if anybody has heard anything new on the progess of Hydra for the HVX.
I am looking at directing a low budget short film here in Ireland and am trying to decide on equipment and workflow.
I realy need the extra lattitude that Hydra seems to offer but am debating the extra cost/benefit involved. (One of our key scenes is taking place at a lake shore at dusk, so we realy need the extra few stops )
I have been thinking about selling my HVX and renting the 500. But I have invested heavily in the HVX and accessories and if the performance with Hydra is equivalent or better than the 500 then I will probably go with it.
If we do I will be looking at doing a film out at some stage for entry into competitions; and was wondering if anybody has experience in putting together a workflow for Final Cut Studio (settings, tips etc)
I am not an editior so I am trying to get my head around working with Sculptor and Hydra. If anybody has and experience I would appreciate any feedback. Please feel free to sed me a PM .
Regards,
Ray Frisby.
