Hey man just an FYI, I just rented one for my DSLR rig. It is useless without the counter balance kit. If there is no weight on the back you're better off just shooting handheld. I would assume it would be needed even more with a bigger camera (HVX, EXI) Just an FYI. Good luck on your search.
