The DVX100 footage of the Letus35 on their site (radio announcer guy clip) looks like it has a couple of promist filters stacked on top of it. It is really way too hazy for my taste. Maybe there is better or more recent footage shot with this adapter but I haven't seen it.
The footage of the redrock micro seems really hit or miss, I think a lot of the bad stuff might just be operator error. I would really prefer a static adapter if I can get away with it.
I have seen numerous fantastic looking clips shot by macgregor with the (currently unavailable) G35, that don't seem to exhibit any grain, or halos. Im perfectly willing to endure the excruciating agony of attaching a tiny magnet on my LCD to get the results the G35 delivers, assuming I can ever get my hands on one
One thing that is clear and that Redrock and Cinemek seem to acknowldege, is that to obtain a faster adapter you have to sacrifice highlight handling and smoothness of the bokeh. The Cinemek adapter is going to come in 2 versions, a 1.5 stop version, and a 0.5 stop version. I believe Redrock has interchangable GG now for this reason also.
