I have a Redrock Micro EF to M43 adapter which I've never used. Includes caps, the cable & switch and 9v battery. Redrock sell this kit for $598. Asking $410 shipped insured to Canada/USA. Paypal gift or buyer picks up paypal fees.

Does it work with EF-S lenses?

I don't know but will check with Redrock and advise.

edit: Just done some reading on this and apparently an ef-s lens will not fit on an ef body. If that's so, the Redrock livelens will not work with ef-s lenses.

I'm interested. One question. Does it look like I would be able to remove the M43 adapter and leave just the bare LiveLens unit? I have a project (I'm building) and that would be perfect. I can't tell from the photo but I would imagine this is basically the "old" LiveLens sold with no mount, onto which Redrock has bolted the M43 adapter...perhaps from the inside.

Short answer - I don't know.

The unit has the capacity to be dissembled, as can be seen from the attached photographs. Whether this would allow you to use parts of the unit as you intend I hope you can determine from the additional shots I've attached.

Yes, this will work with EF-S. I have used it to control both a 17-55 and 55-250 EF-S lens an it worked. No, it will not power IS. All it does is allow you to change aperture and nothing else.

That's helpful, thank you for confirming.
