Wasn't sure if this was brought up here already (didn't find in search). Is there any word on when Redrock will be releasing it's EF to m4/3 aperture controller? I know Birger has an adapter coming out supposedly costing around $700. In this video (2/3 of the way in) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xL3LjJpwn1o&feature=player_embedded#! a representative from Redrock explains that this item is going to cost WELL under $500.

I live in NYC and would love the ability to rent out Canon L or Carl Zeiss primes for around $25 bucks a day when needing to use higher end glass. The Kipon adapter also kinda freaks me out, so I don't see that as an option.

Yep - you'll start to see more in the next week or so. There are a few people we've asked to put it through its paces here, and all systems point to go.

If you want Zeiss primes then just buy a cheap Nikon F / m43 adapter and rent the Nikon versions. No need to worry about electronics at all that way.

This is a great idea!!! I don't know why I didn't think about that before. I'm seeing adapters for around $25.

Still very excited about a less expensive EF to m4/3 aperture control option through Redrock Micro.
