Would anyone be interested in the Original Redrock M2 for $300?
It's in great condition, but I've given up lens adapters for REDones, Arri D-21's, and 7d's... I'll not be needing it anymore. I was thinking about buying the Encore upgrade and then reselling it... but that is to much work. I'll offer it for really cheap and if the buyer wants to do so, they can.
The item for sale is the original M2 configurated for the HVX200. It has the 72mm universal HD achromat, Nikon Lens Mount, already shimmed to HVX height, and has the hardmount rings. Achromat and GG were clean last I checked. Haven't used it in almost half a year.
You can buy the encore upgrade for $545 from Redrock. The Encore unit sells on RedRocks site for about $995 alone... not counting the achromat. So I guess for anyone who wants to 'do it yourself' and upgrade to the encore, you'd be saving some money. ($150 + cost of achromat)
Never sold anything online before, so if you're in the LA area, feel free to come by and check it out if you're interested. I can offer photographs to those who cannot.
if you have any questions simply ask.
Best,
-Ryan
PS: I have wrenches, extra shims and etc. Those will obviously come with the unit. Also knocked price down to 300
