redrock diy adapter

i built the diy redrock adapter last year, but now i'm moving on to the brevis 35. i'm selling the redrock sd achromat (list $160), the diy guide with gg (list $45), and some random other parts i used to build it (housing/various connectors/other glass i tried before buying the rr achromat/etc.). i have taken the gg out, and never got the focal length quite right, so whoever buys this will need to do a little work to get it working again. pm me with any questions. i'd like to get $135. please note the 50mm lens in the pics is NOT included.

nikon mount. sorry, no footage. only did some test shots with it last year. again, it should not be considered functional out of the box. that is why i am selling it for the price of the main parts used, rather than the price of a built adapter.

this would be a good buy for someone who wants to build the redrock diy adapter, plus save a little on the achromat and instructions.

ok, i'm getting a lot of pm's, so here's the deal. THIS IS NOT A COMPLETED ADAPTER. IT IS NOT READY TO GO OUT OF THE BOX. if that were the case, i wouldn't be asking $135, i would be asking a lot more.

if you are someone with nikon lenses, this will probably get you 85% of the way there. just some tweaking on the focal lengths. what you get is a redrock sd achromat that is like new condition, the diy plans, ground glass, case, and some various parts. and again, the 50mm lens IS NOT INCLUDED.

hope this clears up any questions.

anyone? make me an offer if you need this achromat and the other parts. i need cash for some other accessories. i need some cash asap.

So if I was to buy it, what EXACTLY would I need to get it up and running and how hard do you imagine that is?

assuming you have nikon lenses, the gg and gg holder needs to go back in, and the side your lenses go on to would need some tweaking to get the focal length right. i have a nikon mount on the other side (camera side). i have a box of random parts, and i *think* i have what would be needed to go from a dvx to the adapter. hvx or something other than the same diameter of the dvx would need a different step down ring. not positive about having everything though. i had it hooked up to my camera, but without putting everything back together i don't want to say for sure. the plans can get you the rest of the way.

assuming the red rock guys wouldn't have a problem with it, i can transfer my forum access to you. it's a private forum only for owner of red rock producs, including the diy plans.
