Rednecks, Concussions, wrestlers, pokemon and half of a film.

Kudos to your extra for catching the madness on his phone camera!

All I can say is: " 'MERICA! F*** YEAH!"

Glad that crazy SOB didn't take out your camera (or you!). If I were you, I'd try to gain investors using your trailer, a brief talk-to-the-camera synopsis of the challenges your production has faced so far, and then the footage from your extra's phone camera - tell the potential investors that you'll be using their funds to secure a location that isn't run by 'roid-ragin' billy-bobs! lol

Also, great work in that trailer! I'm eager to see the final product!! Break a leg on the rest of the project- don't give up yet!

The idea of getting investors involved and make this a full length was my idea from the very beginning as I think the story here would be a great full length, but I don't have the people, means, budget to do it right. I was going to put the short in fests along with a full length script and push to get people/investors involved and make this into a real movie. I re shoot what footage I need to complete the short this Monday so hopefully I can get a nice video with all the craziness that went into this small project etc. and get some help. I also scored a DP gig for a movie in Atlanta with a 40k budget. So glad to be on a real project where all I have to do is shoot the film not direct, edit, cast, props, etc. I will keep this thread updated!

Wrestlers and Rednecks, Pokemon and Bubble Butts- man, you gotta love this thread!
My fave moment was when his voice squeaked... also, he could use subtitles...
Trailer looks great, best of luck moving forward!!!

Look into kickstarter.com. You have such a good example of your film I would think this would be a perfect candidate for a campaign.

Kickstarter is exactly what I will be doing! This thread has become quite interesting I must say... Will update with pics from the shoot late tomorrow.

Pics from the shoot on Monday!

PS... obviously the shots you see of him on set are mostly from my cam, and the one where he went to the trash can.... the director and i nearly lost it laughing our arses off

Yes my buddy just raised 10k on Kickstarter to complete a doc on a Stanley Krubic film.

Don't give up on this project, it really has balls... and made me want to see more. If you wanted an easy stress free profession you're in the wrong business.

Here is the finished product guys. What a crazy mess and I'm alive (The "I know where you live" phone calls scared me.) Every shoot was cut in half and most of what you see are the first and only takes we had a chance to capture. Enjoy!

A) Why do the commentary moments look so bad?

B) What the hell kind of reel did this guy have?
