Redneck Samurai Screen

YES! A trailer. Cool. ....I heard the Redneck Samurai trailer is playing at the beginning of War of the Worlds. :)
 
iis it too big as is w x l? if so ill have to export it smaller tomorrow sorry if so. but tell me what u thinks.

I have a Windows PC and when I tried to play the clips in Quicktime it said the required compressor could not be found... :(


Any ideas I could try...?

It's not working for me either. I updated my quicktime to 6.5 not 7 because the version 7 is only available for macs only at this time....damn
 
the beta for quicktime 7 for windows has been available for download at apple.com for like a week now....

oh and, I have a mac with quicktime 7 and that teaser is cool but it looks mad interlaced...
 
The screen caps got me equally jazzed, seeing more unfinished footage is making me more reserved...

I hope I am not being a rascist or anything when I say this, but I am on the fence on this project thusfar. Visually, some of the screen caps are cool as hell and I think the costumes are great, gritty, and unique (seemingly a perfect match to the material) but without a killer storyline it may just be some good CC effort of guys in a field.

I'm hoping to eat these words, you've built us up good with anticipation, nice job on that (although you almost alienated yourselves to the same people who are backing you - yikes). Looking forward to some good substance in the actual trailer's trailer! If there is a lot of fighting in the movie it's gonna need to be damned tight!

Don't rush that trailer, make it solid.............and deinterlace!

Spidey you have my attention. It's looking fun and looking good! Bring it! Take your time and make it rock! This looks good. I love the CC; the grain, the grit.

And yes; Deinterlace!
 
Seriously Spidey, you need to stop being so incredibly awesome because it makes people like me feel bad for not being as cool. All those screen shots were soooo sweet!! I'll be following the progress of this project for sure! Good luck!
 
ok. deinterlace i cant believe it did thathmm ok well the trailer will be some time this evening. so for the wait. you know i want to make it look good and ****. well ill i bet hit the road to the studio to edit it look foward to it around 4 - 6 pm est time.
 
I saw it (running a mac with quicktime 7), but there's interlacing and shifting ghost-like color silhouettes running throughout so it's hard to watch as is. But from what I could see, with a solid compression job, this would look awesome. Look forward to a finished trailer.

OMG. That's hilarious. Looks like fun. I especially love it that our redneck hero is toting a katana in one hand and a baseball bat in the other...
