Redneck Samurai Screen

I'm not angry. I simply want all race related issues flattened before they can grow. If I offended Mr. Iamloser, then I can eat that. Please remember that I don't play on issues of rascism and we'll all be cool. Perhaps the monk's words pertain to him as well (In the spirit of keeping race, religion and politics out of the forum). I didn't sign on until I saw a problem. I was honnor by all of the comments until then. Mr. Iamloser's 2nd entry, where he clearly explained his point, was not offensive. Think about this in the future. I am very stoked that my DP's photography is so well accepted. He's a bad ass.

A fair question. I had to seek the teachings of Brother Paul Mooney when it came to the issue of no Asians. You know; why in the hell is Tom Cruze the Last Samurai. This is a post-resourse world of no masters, only want-a-bes. The ones with samurai skill either learn from Master Acedizzle (Wu-tang Hip Hop Style) on video or from his personal instruction. The Redneck Samurai found his sword in an abandoned junk shop. I stayed true to the teachings of the Hagakure and The Book of the Five Rings as to not disrespect the word "samurai".
 
I dunno... I absolutely loved the very first grab. That one was as filmlike as it gets. The rest look like heavily CC'd video =| Just post the darn clip already ;)
 
I didn't want to say this, but I'd love to know the answer. I agree with xl70e3. That first grab could have come out of any Hollywood feature. It is absolutely filmlike, it looks perfect. The grabs on the others (some of them) do not look very filmlike to me.

So I would like to hijack this thread and ask: Why?

[EDIT: The guy alone in the blackness looks filmlike to me as well.]
 
i suppose the sun being at high noon had something to do with it. but golden hour time always looks best anyway so i guess its good to CC to as well..... i dunno lol?

I Am Loser is probally the last dude in here that I would ever forsee or guestimate having any kind of issues with anyone or any subject really; he has always been a great contributor and even when presented with a potential problem has always handled himself with great professionalism and care.

Unlike me however.

Try and use a little self-control please; with only 5 posts under your belt you were this close to being banned permanently for that attack. I hold reservations because Spidey is another one of our wonderful contributors and longtime members here; I hope you are of his kind; mellow as yellow.

Anyway, a little late to this party but being clear this is not some random message board or flameboard that you find elsewhere. Be cool; have some humility and carry yourself like a professional and we'll all get along fine.

Anyway; that jib shot looked nice Spidey. Nice and smooth and loving the high contrats underexposed grainy feel; my kind of look.
 
hm i can see on my mac but not on my pc as long as you can see it that great.

I agree with al70e3 said about the first grab. It looks better than the others. Not that the others look bad.

The video was a nice clip to give us. It didn't give anything away and it showed how much work you're putting into this project. Nice work Mathew and Spidey! Did you ever answer the question about how long this film will be? Estimate.
