Camera works perfectly! Primarily used as a 3rd camera to our two Epic and then our Weapon cameras. It's been used, so cosmetically it isn't perfect, but it looks pretty good considering.
Cons:
- 5" Touch LCD is a tiny bit loose on the tilt axis. Less than an 1/8th on an inch play, so it doesn't move around on it's own, just when you grab it, it feels a little loose.
- 4x V-Mount Batteries work, but are old and have been used. I'm seeing 35-60 minutes of run time with these on the camera currently. I am not guaranteeing the function of these as they are quite old.
- 6x REDVOLT Batteries also seem to work and list about 15-25 minutes of run time on the camera. We didn't really use these except for when replacing the v-mount or swapping between power supplies. I am not guaranteeing the function of these as they are quite old.
- RED LCD Touch cable has a slight tear in the rubber shielding on one side. This does not effect the function at all, just a cosmetic issue.
- REDMOTE works well, but the internal battery doesn't last long. If you use a USB battery it'll function all day.
We are selling as we are starting to transition to the DSMC3 platform and no longer have a need for this camera. All you need to be ready to shoot is some RED 1.8" SSD Media and you'll be set. This is a great opportunity to get into the RED system. The camera captured beautiful images and is a very solid workhorse.
Based in Santa Cruz, California but am willing to ship if the buyer pays. Asking $3500 net to me. I accept PayPal, wire transfer or cash in person.
