+1,000,000 I will be shooting as well. I'll check in with iphone for specs of whatever Canon releases then pour over the battle of Canon vrs Red later. Then, on friday, start shooting again and enjoy the camera I already have.

Uh .... EST means Eastern Standard Time, right? And we're still on Daylight Savings Time, right? :undecided
And it looks like the timer is counting down to 9:00 PDT. I'm so confused!!!

Yeah, unfortunately they goofed on the countdown. It's going to be 3 hours late. The Red announcement is happening at 6pm PDT.
 
EST refers to Eastern Standard Time in the good old US of A. Meaning the announcement is at 6:00PM in California and that translates to the east coast time of 9:00 PM. There is a 3 hour difference between the east coast and west coast time here in the USA. It will be 9:00 PM here in New York when the announcement is made in California. It will be already Nov. 4 in Australia!
 
Well, since they already changed everything a couple of months ago without saying what, changing everything again now means, well, the same to us since we don't know what changed anyway!! :)

Apparently they just changed the announcement date... citing that everything changes, then saying it was all a test anyway to see how dedicated everyone is to the Red kingdom. Then they continued, saying that they compiled a massive s@#t list out of this one! :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
 
did they really change the announcement date? to test faith? i can't tell if you're joking or not at this point. if it is no joke, then it's like god telling abraham to slay his own son man. that would be messed up seriously.

Did I sound serious? I thought the ":Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)" would have manged to convince anyone that I was joking. I'm totally joking man.
