red is too bright

don't know if it's normal but in some shots, I'm little bit disapointing about colors. Some times, there is dark red in the shot and in the dvx it's a very bright red. I try to chnage the chroma level but I loose every colors :-/ . i'm pretty much sure my exposure is well set and i'm very sure about my white balance. Is it normal?

In general, video loves reds, or hates them depends on how you look at it. The best way to overcome this is selectivley desaturate the reds in post, and possibly apply a chroma blur.
