Ha, I scratched my head about the Hi8 part before reading the post.

Congratulations. I'm in post now and am busting at the seams to get it done but we're looking for late Summer 2010 release as well.

Good luck with post and congratulations for attracting name talent to the project as well.

And wow! Impressive that you were able to garner so much sponsorship...I'm definitely envious of that.

I'll check out the trailer some other time as it won't play for me here at work (dang day jobs, don't they realize I need multi-media to watch trailers?) Check out mine as well for me (www.battle-movie.com)

Keep us posted on your progress,

Martin

I keep looking at the cast list and still stuck on Vincent Pastore. Not to take away from the hard work of others, but Vincent Pastore is well, pretty cool. And how in the world did you get Vegas' mayor Goodman to hop on the train? haha!

Nice work, Blue! The trailer on the movie site looks great and hope it gets a wide enough release that I get it here.
Big congrats, Blue. Well done!

Bluespider! We don't hear from you for ages and you wow us with this!

Looks fantastic. What did you shoot it with? More details!!!

Martin- Thanks for checking it out. Yeah, it was shot with the new Hi8-Red One combo. I checked your stuff out, pretty good stuff. Looking forward to seeing more. My next feature is Kungfused. A martials action comedy. Sound of music meets Jackie Chan.

Jls4- We were working on a budget of around 150k. Not sure though.. Checked out your stuff and you got some funny actors.

Terri- Yeah Vincent is cool. He made me break dance in front of the whole cast and crew when someone told him I used to break dance. I had to cause if I didn't he might wack me. Yeah, I have some stories.. ;)

Greeches- Thanks for watching it. Yeah, I sort of rushed on the color grading, sound, etc. The final will look better than this. I'm going to use color for its grading. We shot this on the Red One and a few primes. Forgot what they were.

Cipo and Ikander- thanks for the comments. Kuni is a talented dude and that's why we picked him as our DP.

I'll post some more stuff soon. I'm currently in post editing the film.

Here's a little behind the scenes clip. There will be a behind the scenes doc on this film soon. Stay tuned.

Looks really good, Blue.

You might want to edit your original post and make the YouTube videos work properly. Only the first one (the trailer) plays. Use just the video's ID between the YT tags, not the full url.

Good luck!!!

Looks great. I'm very interested in seeing this after just watching the trailer. It looks like a really well put together film.

Looking forward to more updates!
