Red Giant Sale...any "must have" software?

Have noticed Red Giant have a special one day sale on right now...ending in just a few hours...

40% off....

I currently have no colour correction software apart from what is available via Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop...but am getting more serious about HDSLR video production...

Is this a deal too good to miss out on?

If you had to pick one bit of software from Red Giant that would be suitable for Colour Correction for a Colour Correction novice...what would you recommend?

Would you just buy the wholeMagic Bullets suite?

In other words...is this software really that useful?

I used Magic Bullet Mojo to colour correct a short film I just made, and it made the footage look COMPLETLY AMAZING. Highly reccomended.

Colorista II for me. It's so easy to use yet so powerful. I'm amazed at the results I can get with it with just a small amount of grading experience.

Thanks for the replies....decided to leave it and do my research first...

Have heard some good things about Colorista...but is hard to figure out exactly what is best for my needs given the wide range of product they have ...that seem to do similar tasks...

thank you...

colorista II if you know what you're doing, mojo if you don't or are extremely lazy

as for your research, you can start here (general concepts, applied with the original colorista)

then, for mojo:
