HPX250: Red Flashing "COM" in LCD Display

Our HPX250 just came back from Panasonic service for replacement of the power rocker/record button due to intermittent shutdowns. It is now displaying a flashing red "COMS" display. Anybody know what that means? Can't seem to find it in the manual. Thank you.
 
I don't know about the HPX250, but to get rid of the flashing "COM" message on the AC160, hold RESET/TC SET, up on the joystick, and EXEC all at the same time, for more than three seconds. Others have set that on the AF100, you just need to hold up on the joystick and EXEC. Give both of those a try, in case the HPX250 works in a similar way.
