Red Epic...Wow!

Any guesses what this is gonna set people back? If they are giving full credit for a Red One exchange...wow. Maybe I should just go get an Arri SR-3...at least it won't change every 6 months! As impressive as this Epic concept is, it seems to be getting kind of further away from their business plan of making cinematic images affordable (I'm just guessing).

The RED One isn't going anywhere - the exchange is being offerred for those owners who want to step up to a higer capacity camera that wasn't available when they bought their own. But the RED One will continue, and it's upgradable to take a new sensor as well.

I don't know... how many other 5K cameras are out there, and what do they cost?
You can't just look at the price tag - but what you'll be getting for that price.
