Red and white pixelly weirdness

Hey guys, long time FCP user, getting reestablished in Premiere here. I just imported 5 video clips, and two of them are doing a weird red / white pixelly looking thing though about a third of the footage. Here's what it SHOULD look like:

I tried googling this, but all I could find were pages about the Red cameras and the Premiere workflow. Have you run into this before?

Just a heads up, the 5 files were edited in FCS, and exported through File>Export>Quicktime Movie with all of the default settings.

Right. But when I load the exported files in QT, there's nothing weird happening. They play fine. When I take that exact file and put it in Premiere, it goes nuts. I was just eliminating the "check your source file to make sure it's fine."

Never seen this... but it does look like some kind of file format incompatibility. Like maybe there's a QT feature that PP doesn't support or recognise.

Did the 2 faulty clips have anything different about them? Like an alpha channel? Even though all 5 clips used the same settings, any difference could cause the QT codec to switch to another mode, or activate some odd feature.

Is there some other format you can export in?

No, they were all exported the same route. I even cleared all my markers to try to see if that was causing it.

Currently exporting in h.264 to see if that will do anything.
