recovering footage from the contents folder

Is it possible to recover video files from a contents folder without having the lastclip.txt file? I have a couple content folders that i dumped when i first got my hvx, and i didn't realize that i needed the lastclip file as well.

The only way i've been able to watch the footage is by doing the log and transfer through final cut. Would it be too much trouble to ask for a step by step of how to use the p2 content manager to recover my footage?
thanks for your help and time,
adam

I tried creating new blank TXT. I put that and my contents folder into their own folder. Then i went to log and transfer that contents folder in final cut and I got this message: "CONTENTS 2" contains unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media." I checked the folders in the contents folder and all the mxf files were in the video and audio folders. That leads me to believe that i could still convert these mxf's into quicktimes. Any suggestions?

Only thing I can think of is - in L&T, you must select the top folder, iow, the folder you created, not the CONTENTS folder. when you navigate to the container folder, you will see the lastclip.txt and the CONTENTS folder. do not select one of those, just hit OPEN.

Also "CONTENTS 2" is not a valid name for a CONTENTS folder. can't really tell w/o seeing your directory structure what's going on. it's also possible your CONTENTS folder is corrupted in some other way.
