recovering deleted files

Hi, would just like to ask is there a way to recover deleted files on p2 store. Accidently deleted files and have not upload any new files. is this possible?
 
Were the files deleted or did you formatt the disk? I wouldn't know how to get the clips back if they were just deleted. But as I understand it if you formatt the disk you can't get anything back.

That's not accurate. You can still recover data, unless it has been overwritten several times. The question is how much do you want to spend to recover it? There are many medium-cost programs out there that will recover data after a hard drive format, but you'll be looking at much more expensive solutions if the data has already been overwritten. For regular media, my experience has been very good at data recovery.
For video footage from P2, I have been unable to do it.
One would think it is simply data, that should behave the same as any other data, but for me, after several attempts, using various means, the results were never positive.

I think a tool to do such would be a great thing to have.

it's virtually impossible, even with data rescue program.. i accidently erased a dog attack and am kicking myself in the ass for erasing it..
