Recording using two cards at the same time

Hello,
I shot using two 8GB cards, each with about 28 minutes on them. The shoot was about 45 minutes so naturally it went to Card 2. When I used the SXS USB 2.0 reader and copied both cards to separate folders, the second one had a U01 extension at the end of the folder. I am using the XDCAM FCP plug-in but it says the clip is incomplete (on another card), anyway to join it to one?

asabf, I think the Xdcam Utility does this fairly easy, I've never bothered to do it though, as I always simply paste them together in post-production and they fit together perfectly. I don't have the utility here to tell you how exactly how to, but check the help file. This should be very easy
 
add both cards too log and transfer if you are using the plug in for fcp.

or add both cards to xdcam transfer if your using that.. they should auto join.
