Recording to Tape and Hard Drive?

Hey guys,

I wanted to record to my laptop, using Onlocation (formely DV Rack) and to Tape as back up. But when I push Record on the DVX it records to my hard drive but not on the tape. When ever I play back the tape all I get is a blue screen.

Any ideas.

Thanks Barry, I gave it a try. I got it to record on the tape and hard drive, but unfortunatly when I press the Onlocation button, the dvx record mechanism doesn't kick in. And vice versa, when I push the DVX record button, Onlocation doesn't start recording. I have to push record for each seperatly.

Is there another setting on the DVX that I might have missed?
