hi there. i have a 500D/rebel T1i and i have just bought a 32GB card for it, so i should have enough space. i think..
here's the problem: the camera can only record exactly 29m 59sec in one take, and that's ok, i already knew that. but the problem is that it shows that in the display all the time, NOT the TOTAL amount of recording time left on the card.
you see the problem? it reads 29m 59s when i begin recording, i record 20m of video, stops, and it reads 29m 59s left. again.. so i have no clue about how much time i have left in total, and ofcourse there is no option in the camera to change the display to the total amount of time left. (nice one canon, thanks for that..)
so, 2 questions:
1: how do i figure out what the total recording time is on a 32GB card when recording in 1080x720p?
2: can the 7D display the total amount of recording time left? if anyone with such a camera could check it would be great, thanks.
