Recording SD to tape

O.K. I have a client that is providing MiniDV tape and needs standard DV output. Interlaced 720x480. What do I do? Its been a long time since I shot DV and I have never done it with the HVX200. I am shooting with another guy who is on a Canon GLwhatever, don't remember the exact model number, but the formats need to match... the client needs DV.

I would appreciate any help with settings here. What recording format to choose, ect. I think I saw 480 30p, but I need 720x480 29.97 interlaced. And I cannot take it back to post and output, the client wants to walk with the tape.

Thanks.

Thanks for the input. Ypu are correct, 60i is the right way to go. I did a test and imported footage from tape into FCP to make sure. And in case you are wondering...I don't miss tape at all! :)

Does the Canon shoot in 16x9 or 4x3?

If it's 4x3 only you will need to change the HVX to shoot in 'normal' mode which is 4x3. The native shooting mode of the HVX is 'squeeze' which is 16x9
