Considering the limitaton of 4 GB/ 12 minute recording sizes of individual clips in the Canon DSLRs, just how long does it take to stop recording and start recording a new clip?
I have done many shoots with the HVX200 using Adobe OnLocation to record 2 - 3 hour events directly to laptop. In doing this, I have always hit the hot key to immediately stop and start recording a new clip, thus breaking the clips into managably smaller files for editing ease.
If you can stop and start a new recording going in about three seconds or less, then I would have no problem in recording the types of long form recordings I have done in the past.
