Recording in interval mode

On the HVX 200 I noticed that when I am shooting in interval record mode that the only way to end the shot is to turn the camera off. The record button will not stop the record. Is that the only way?

No, you can stop it by pressing the "playback stop" button (the "down" menu button).

Yea its a bit weird... i've noticed this on most of the p2 cameras i've worked on, guess its so you cant button off easily by mistake.

Stupid question, but what settings do I need to get into interval mode. No matter what I do the menu setting is blue and I cant tweak it.

You have to be using a form of "Video Mode" (not "Film Mode") in your scene file. Also you have to be shooting in 30p 60i or 60p. Note that 30PN does not work, it has to be just 30p.
