Recording in HDV - outputing in DV

Hello. I have this question.

If i record in HDV in cineframe mode with the FX1 but later i want to download the footage in DV format via firewire... what will happend?

I have 1080i (1920x1080 pixels) footage interpolated so i end up with a real resolution of 1920x540 pixels.
So if i convert within the camera to standard dv i think i will have a real resolution of 720x540 pixels(PAL is 720x576). So i end up with a real progresive widescreen DV footage, isn´t it?

Now, perhaps i was a little confusing.

Let me ask this question again differently.

When shooting in DV, is the cineframe effect of the FX1 performed before the resampling from 1080i is performed? or after?

If it is performed before, i would almost have a real progressive footage.
If not, i would have footage that looks like the old XL1 frame mode, wouldn´t I?

As far as I saw it on mine, the cineframe seems to be performed before the downscaling. It still does not look like progressive at all.

Try using mpeg streamclip. It does a very good job deinterlacing 1080i and it's free.
