I found a post where someone captured DVCproHD to the internal drive of a Powerbook.
When doing this to an external drive, what is better: USB2.0 or Firewire 400?
Would I need FW800?
Is FCP enough for capturing 720p or would I need something like DVrackHD (though it is PC only...)?
I need to record up to 6 hours continuously btw...
PS do you use complete external HDDs for archiving or take out the Drive and reuse the enclosure?
