Recording from FCP

hey all,

i want to record directly from fcp onto the dvx to have an information rich file on mini dv, but i can't seem to get the image to come up on the camera when i link it up with the firewire. i had a cheapie dv camera that i used to do this with and it worked perfectly. is there some sort of setting that i need to set on the dvx in order to have the camera read images FROM the computer?

Have you set your VCR/camera button, it should be on VCR.

You may want to send this to the FCP bin.

Also, I make sure to "refresh a/v devices" after things have been switched up. You mentioned switching cameras, right?
