Recording Format / SD Card Problem

When I start the camera up it says, "Cannot record PH mode and HA mode into this card. Please change the rec format." I can record HE and HG modes just fine but I really need to record PH mode.

I have 2 SanDisk 8GB class 10 cards that are essentially brand new. I've tried formatting the cards and neither one works.

How do I fix this problem??
 
Update the firmware in your camera. The very earliest first version of the HMC150 came out before there was such a thing as Class 10 cards, so the first-version cameras don't recognize them and think they're class 2. Update the firmware and it'll know that they're class 10.
 
What is the firmware version of the camera? I believe version 1.20 allows class 10 recording. Version 1.21 is the latest firmware update.
